A GREEN WAVE OF HOSPITALITY - STARBUCKS

Starbucks is ushering in a new era of hospitality, dubbed the "Green Wave”, mug hugs are back, as well as handwritten notes on your coffee cup.

The company is focusing on reclaiming its "third place" status, where folks will be encouraged once again to linger.

Starbucks has stated it’s planning to pause price increases for FY2025 and is working heartily on process improvements, including labor deployment and a new order sequencing algorithm, to deliver on a 4-minute wait time especially as relates to mornings.

Despite same-store sales falling for the fifth straight quarter, CEO Brian Niccol is optimistic about the company's "Back to Starbucks" plan, same store comps though looked a bit rough both in the US and China, a major market for them.
